During the last year we have switched our appointments so that the initial contact our patients had was by telephone with a doctor.

This was to avoid an overcrowded waiting room of the past and to reduce the chance of transmission of covid19.

Throughout this time, we have always seen patients face to face if clinically needed.

There is a further easing of restrictions on 17th May 2021 but we intend to continue to triage every doctor appointment by telephone first.

This will allow our doctors to assess the problem first over the phone and arrange a face to face appointment if needed or preferred. It also prevents the waiting room becoming crowded and the need for patients to stand waiting outside when the waiting room is at capacity.

Thank you for your understanding and patience through these tumultuous past 14 months, we have been overwhelmed by the gratitude and appreciation from our patients and the positive feedback about the telephone triage system.
