Using Heidi AI to Support Patient Care

 

From early July, some of our clinicians will begin using a secure digital assistant called Heidi AI for a trial period to help with administrative tasks and improve how we deliver care.

With your consent, Heidi can listen during consultations and create a written summary, which your clinician will check before it’s added to your medical record. This helps reduce paperwork and allows your GP or nurse to focus more on you during appointments.

Your safety, privacy, and confidentiality are our top priorities.

Heidi works within NHS-approved systems and follows strict data protection and security standards. Your information is never shared outside the practice and is used only to support your care.

Heidi does not make decisions — all outputs are reviewed and approved by a qualified clinician.

This trial aims to reduce admin time, so our team can spend more time with patients and provide even better care.
